The Artists & Their Work

Collective skills range across drawing, painting, design, sculpture, glass work, batik, printmaking, woodcarving, textiles, calligraphy, ceramics and furniture making.

All the members of the group endeavour to foster the spirit of creativity both individually and in the local community. In addition to establishing regional and national reputations in their own fields, some members of the group have accepted commissions that include sculpture for public amenities and schools, paintings in local government meeting rooms, architectural ironwork, seating and ceramic mosaics for public walkways and courtyards.

Above all, they pursue the values of ‘the thinking hand and eye’, a key phrase which forms one of the principles of the group’s exposition.
